Our condition grades

Every clearance unit is inspected by our team before it's listed. Here's what each grade means.

  • Demo

    Showroom display unit

    Displayed in our showroom and may have been test-fired or run for demonstrations. Cosmetically close to new.

    Warranty details are listed on each unit.

  • Open box

    Never installed

    Opened or returned but never installed or used. Comes with its original parts and manuals.

    Warranty details are listed on each unit.

  • Used

    Previously installed

    Removed from a home, then cleaned and inspected by our technicians. Expect normal signs of use.

    Warranty details are listed on each unit.

  • Scratch & dent

    Cosmetic marks only

    Scuffs, dents or chips from shipping or handling. Works as it should, and every mark is shown in the photos.

Clearance questions

Can I see a unit in person?

Yes. Most clearance units are on display in our showroom. Contact us before you visit so we can confirm the unit is still available.

Do you deliver and install clearance units?

Yes. Our team can deliver and install any clearance stove, fireplace or insert, and deliver and set up clearance spas. Units marked "Pickup or install only" can't be shipped.

What warranty comes with a clearance unit?

It depends on the unit and the manufacturer. Each listing shows the warranty that applies to that specific unit. Ask us if you have questions.

Why do some units say "Call for pricing"?

Some manufacturers don't allow us to advertise discounted prices online. Give us a call or send a message and we'll share the clearance price.

Can I put a unit on hold?

Contact us and we'll let you know what we can do. Clearance units are one of a kind and sell first come, first served.
